    search/personalized toggle

    Ever since we released live.com on 11/1, we've released a lot of feedback from our users wanting a simpler, cleaner, faster search experience.
     
    We made a lot of improvements in that space with our new first run released on 6/15, we're very happy to announce some further improvements in this space. You can now toggle between a 'search only' and 'personalized home' experience and your last state will be remembered.  This replaces our old 'hide' option, with a much improved experience in 'search only' mode that is faster and includes search filters.

    I want to build a live search that returns the profile image in a windows live spaces profile. In other words I want to be able to view the windows live spaces users that have a profile image only but in the live search images view. The windows live spaces equivalent to the myspace browse. I thought I start by searching using the MSDN Blogs Search Engine. Please comment in my guest book if you have any thoughts!

    I have said this before, but I will say again that you should be able to access the "Search only" page through the URL search.live.com.  That way you do not have to toggle back and forth.  If I want my page I type live.com; if I just want to search, I type search.live.com.  I think new users will expect the service to work like this.

    yes this was a good Idea because yahoo is upgradeing at the same time and I have been with them forever and had a old aol alterinitive email and I dislike aol and would rather have mail and msn account with you, oh ya and I need it for xbox 360 (it's web site need msn and .net account), which I have the msn now with you and need help with the .net part of it.  Thank you for reading

    Hi, is it possible to get to the search page where all your macros are installed without having to do an initial search first?  It seems that if I have an empty search it just redirects me to the "cleaner" page, but that only shows the default links (Web, News, Images, etc).
