Mail is Back!

We are VERY HAPPY to announce that you can once again see your Windows Live Hotmail using the Live.com mail gadget. You can add the gadget back to your page by clicking here.

Remember, you must be a Windows Live Hotmail user to see your mail - be sure to upgrade if you haven't already!

    Hopefully the "Wave 2" ui will not come, however there are propably some users out there that would like it - so I desperatly want to have the option of having the first ui (the current one on Live.com); preferably I would like to option of customizing it just like I want ...
     
    and that's what is sorely missing - ability for users to customize ui's of Live.com and all Live services just they way they want it. How about that, Live.com development team - or did you all die on May 17??

    Is Live.com going to get any Windows Live 2 UI treatments at all?
     
    We want answers. Unfortunately, it seems like the teams at Microsoft aren't good at handling the public, now are they?

    Hopefully you guys can do a better job on updating this site. Half a year already, and still no updated posts? Sheesh, do the Windows Live teams get neglectful on their blog posts.

     Unfortunately, not all of us are happy. If I wanted to "upgrade," I would've clicked the bloody button myself.
     
       I don't care about customization. Not all of us are obsessed with it. I customize my computer: the desktop, the font in word programs, the background colour in words programs, etc. I possess a large capacity to be content with that. I don't need #$#@& new colours or shiny buttons.
     
    Now please tell me how I can remove this virus, windows live, so I can get back to E-mailing.

    *sigh* the ui of Live.com will change, and very propably no option for us, that like the current design, to keep the current design on our own personalized Live.com page. This is what it will look like: http://www.liveside.net/Images/screenshots/Wave%202/Home/livehome.PNG, note the extreme gap on both sides.
     
    Why must you guys change the design??

    Hi,
     
    I couldn't customize my web spaces  today and even have hard times log in to my web space. (I think after the interface has changed today).  The original theme and background had totally changed.  Please let me know is this a general problem for most people.  Thanks in advance for the help.

    Sigh ...the ui changes that I read about and complained about here ...have begun. Why oh why is the top border changed?? Why? The ui, and mainly the top border, that was was simply beautiful - if it changes on my Live Spaces site and my personalized Live.com (it still hasn't changed), will I have the option to change it back?? 
     
    If not then it's "My Yahoo!" for me ... :/

    The gadget si nice though i want to report a bug. The calendar link in the gadget doesnt do what it is supposed to do. On clicking the 'Calendar' link I am taken to the 'Today Page' in Windows Live Hotmail webiste instead of the calendar page. THe 'Compose', Inbox' and 'Contacts' links work as they are supposed to.
