    how to get my start content on live.com?

    we didn't port user settings from start.com to live.com but you can easily port your stuff.
     
    go to start.com, click on add content, under advanced features click on export for OPML.
    then go on live.com and import your OPML file... this will give you all the feeds that you have under my web... you'll still need to set up your main page though.

    1) Many of us have a ton of content on the main page that's minimized unless you're reading it. The stuff on your main page is often your most valued feeds, so really that should be integrated into your OPML export. Throw it in a "homepage" folder or somesuch in your OPML file.

    2) I had about 200 feeds in "my web" and just this morning wanted to check out a gadget. I go through the process to add the to-do list, and bam! It erased all 200 of my feeds. Luckily I don't depend on start.com to archive my OPML.

    3) live.com still won't import my OPML file for some reason. Maybe it's too large?
